A costume will always serve a purpose, whether it is to hide, to cover, for disguise, for attention or for fun. Although we often see costumes in the context of theme parties, after all, the word “costume” comes from the French word meaning “to dress up”. The objective of this project was to create a captivating website and online shop for Ema, a talented fashion and costume designer. The website aimed to promote Ema's unique design philosophy, which embraces merging opposites. The project focused on providing Ema with a platform to showcase her costume design work.

The smooth process of browsing, selecting, and purchasing costumes significantly improved their shopping experience. The integration offered an efficient approach for displaying her work and expanding her reach to a larger audience of potential buyers.
The website's navigation was carefully designed to be intuitive and easy to use, ensuring an easy browsing experience. Users can easily navigate through different costume collections, view detailed product information, and access their shopping cart, ensuring an uninterrupted and enjoyable browsing experience.
Optimized checkout process with a focus on simplicity by removing unnecessary steps and providing a clear call-to-action to guide users through the purchase process — resulted in a decrease in friction and a lower rate of cart abandonment.
User testing has been used to collect customer feedback and comments in order to make informed decisions. The insights gained were extremely valuable in improving every aspect of e-commerce experience.

A strategy that put an emphasis on the customers led to an increase in website traffic as well as a surge in conversion rates which were 60% higher. Customers expressed their appreciation to the business for its dedication to environmental stewardship and for the ability to reduce the quantity of discarded fabric via their purchases.
